During our carousel activities on Friday, we have looked at why we have remembrance day, why we use poppies to remember the fallen and what is especially important about this year remembrance.

During the art session we made a wreath, and we took this down to the war memorial in the castle ground. Where we looked at the all the other wreaths that had been placed, we took some time to see some of the names on the memorial.
