Welcome to Wey Valley College

“Achieving New Beginnings Together”

Wey Valley College (WVC) is a Pupil Referral Unit for both primary and secondary students. WVC was established in September 2009, and in January 2016, the Primary PRU that was a separate school was merged with WVC Secondary to form a 5-16 PRU. WVC is commissioned for 43 full-time equivalent places across the phases, which serve the South West of Surrey. The LA liaise with local Head Teachers and WVC to ensure there are 43 full-time equivalent places at WVC.

WVC entered into a Federation with Reigate Valley College (RVC) in January 2014 (RVC has been judged ‘Outstanding’ in all areas in May 2013 and again in October 2017). In April 2015, The RVC and WVC Federation offered support to the Fordway Centre, a primary PRU judged to require improvement. Fourteen months later The Fordway Centre was judged ‘Outstanding’ in all areas. The Fordway Centre joined the federation in April 2016.

In September 2021, the Federation became the Inclusive Education Trust (IET).

All of the schools within the Multi Academy Trust work with young people to support them to overcome challenges so that they can achieve their potential.

If you have any questions about WVC and the services that it offers then please do not hesitate to contact us - contact details can be found on the 'Contact Us' tab.
